COVID-19

The Rochester Fire Department is committed to the safety and welfare of Rochester Township, Rochester Borough, East Rochester Borough and the surrounding areas in which we are called to. We strive to ensure the best possible service to the community that can be provided. If you have an emergency we will come and assist you in whichever way we can. We would like to take this moment to point out a couple changes that you may witness during the COVID-19 outbreak.

1. Unless there is a fire you will only be in contact with one firefighter, unless more are needed. This is to limit exposure to you and our firefighters.

2. Don’t be worried if the firefighter you meet with keeps his distance or is wearing personal protective equipment such as gloves or mask.

3. If you are exhibiting symptoms or have been in contact with someone who was diagnosed with COVID-19 please relay that information to the 911 dispatcher. We will still respond to your emergency, but will take special precautions to protect ourselves.

If you should have any non emergency questions please feel free to call us at (724) 774-0117 or email us at Station23@RochesterFD.com . Thank you!
